Jaguar TECUIXPO necklace

Reading "La otra Isabel" from Laura Martinez-Belli inspired me in this beautiful piece. It's the story of the favorite daughter of Moctezuma the last Aztec king. I mixed pearls as a symbol of the colonization with the finely carved jaguar for power and protection as well as a serpent symbol of wisdom. 

Gala is Love elegant and timeless 'Tecuixpo' necklace has all the makings of a modern heirloom. It's crafted from 14-karat gold and strung with a strand of lustrous freshwater pearls, the serpent brooch has white diamonds in the eyes and includes a carved by hand malachite jaguar pendant that can be removed.  Drape it around your neck to create a shorter, layered length.
